Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the HOA, including buildings and amenities. This position requires a proactive approach to upkeep, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, common areas, and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of pool areas, restaurants, and administrative offices
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or services
  • Ensure compliance with safety and building codes
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies inventory
  • Assist in preparing community for seasonal weather changes (debris removal, storm prep, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or HOA setting
  • Strong knowledge of general building systems and trades
  • Ability to operate tools, power equipment, and maintenance machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
  • Valid Texas driver’s license
  • HVAC, Pool Operator, or other trade certifications a plus

Working Conditions:
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • May require occasional evening or weekend shifts for emergencies or community events
  • Physical activity including lifting, bending, standing, and climbing ladders
